Which Cantina boost should I buy?
Buy for the next task, not by price alone. Crafting Boost doubles Droid Depot crafting speed and Pickaxe Level for 15 minutes, Surges change conveyor blueprints, and Luck now costs 400 V-Bucks after the v1.25 cut.
Wait until you can use the full timer before buying a timed boost.
Check crafting payback
Set up first, then buy
Have credits ready, clear the crafting queue, and know which conveyor or Sandcrawler result you want before starting a timer. A five-minute Surge spent reorganizing the base wastes most of the purchase.
v1.25 cut two V-Bucks prices
Luck Boost and the Boost Bundle each dropped by 100 V-Bucks. Sandcrawler Luck now costs 400 V-Bucks in the table below. Droidex has not recorded the Boost Bundle price directly, so the bundle is omitted rather than reconstructed from the discount.
v1.27 identifies the Stellar Surge
The 3,800 V-Bucks Crit Pack includes its special Crit visual effect, four Critical Chance levels, two Critical Amount levels, and one Multi Crit level; already-owned levels refund Nova Crystals. The live v1.27 shop identifies the announced New Variant Surge as Stellar Surge: 90 Nova for five minutes, sending a Stellar Variant wave across the Sandcrawler conveyor every 30 seconds.
| Pack | V-Bucks | Unlocks | Duplicate handling |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crit Pack | 3,800 | Special Crit VFX; 4 Critical Chance levels; 2 Critical Amount levels; 1 Multi Crit level | Owned levels are refunded as Nova Crystals instead of duplicated. |
Current Cantina prices
| Item | Nova | V-Bucks | Duration | Recorded effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rainbow Surge | 20 | 200 | 5 minutes | Each conveyor blueprint gets a 10% Rainbow conversion roll per wave. |
| Beskar Surge | 30 | 300 | 5 minutes | Each conveyor blueprint gets a 10% Beskar conversion roll per wave. |
| Galactic Surge | 60 | 400 | 5 minutes | Each conveyor blueprint gets a 10% Galactic conversion roll per wave. |
| Crafting Boost | 30 | 250 | 15 minutes | 2x Droid Depot crafting speed and Pickaxe Level. |
| Sandcrawler Luck | 40 | 400 | 15 minutes | Triples Legendary and Mythic weights at the Sandcrawler. |
| Stellar Surge | 90 | Not recorded | 5 minutes | Sends Stellar Variant energy across the Sandcrawler conveyor every 30 seconds. |
How a Surge rolls
A Surge sends one wave immediately, then another every 30 to 50 seconds. Since v1.24, the final wave also triggers consistently when the timer reaches 00:00. Each blueprint on the conveyor rolls independently with a 10% chance to convert to the Surge variant.
More blueprints improve the chance that at least one converts during a wave. They do not improve the 10% roll on an individual blueprint.
Chance of at least one conversion per wave
| Blueprints on conveyor | At least one converts |
|---|---|
| 1 | 10.00% |
| 2 | 19.00% |
| 3 | 27.10% |
| 5 | 40.95% |
| 10 | 65.13% |
What Sandcrawler Luck actually does
The boost triples the Legendary and Mythic weights. Because the whole pool is normalized afterward, the final combined Legendary plus Mythic chance rises from about 4.38% to 12.09%, or roughly 2.76 times the normal final chance.
| Rarity | Normal chance | Luck chance |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 55.78% | 51.28% |
| Rare | 31.87% | 29.30% |
| Epic | 7.97% | 7.33% |
| Legendary | 2.79% | 7.69% |
| Mythic | 1.59% | 4.40% |
Which one would I buy?
Use a Surge when the target variant is the goal and several blueprints can move through every wave. Use Sandcrawler Luck when Legendary and Mythic droids are the goal and enough credits are ready for the full 15 minutes. Use Crafting Boost when a full queue and a prepared scrap loop can use it for the full timer. Since v1.23.2, Crafting Boost provides a 2x Droid Depot crafting-speed and Pickaxe Level effect for 15 minutes. Otherwise, keep the Nova.
