Is Blueprint Scrap worth buying?

Buy it if you want blueprint drops, not only because Level 1 costs 1 Nova. Blueprint results can interrupt unattended Scrap sessions, and higher levels improve the variant without proving a better appearance rate.

I would skip it for a purely unattended credit-farming setup.

The Blueprint Scrap warning

Players report that a blueprint result can interrupt an unattended Scrap session until the blueprint is handled. There is no recorded toggle for the perk. If you mainly use the station for unattended credit farming, buy Blueprint Scrap because you want the blueprints, not merely because Level 1 costs 1 Nova.

Update v1.23.2 restored shared-hit ownership: when another player lands the hit that awards Blueprint Scrap, the station owner receives the blueprint.

Base Scrap rarity

A Scrap result rolls one of four variants. Higher variants are rarer and take more base hits.

How the perks change the result pool

Blueprint Scrap and Upgrade Chip Scrap replace a small share of ordinary droid results. Owning both perks slightly lowers each special result because they share the same pool.

Blueprint Scrap levels

The level controls the blueprint variant. The current data does not show a higher blueprint appearance chance at later levels.

Blueprint value

A Scrap blueprint is recorded at 80% to 120% of the droid's base average CPS. The variant comes from your Blueprint Scrap level. That makes higher levels a quality upgrade, not proof that blueprints appear more often.

Scrap Value

Scrap Value requires Blueprint Scrap. Each level adds credit value equal to 0.5 seconds of base credit generation. The first level costs 25 Nova, then the price rises by 30 per level. The benefit scales with the base you already built, so it is weaker on a young economy.

Upgrade Chip Scrap

There are ten levels. The payout climbs from 5 chips at Level 1 to 60 chips at Level 10. A single drop costs 2 Nova to unlock, while the final level costs 45. Favor this path when Upgrade Chips are a known bottleneck and you already spend time at the station.

Chip Sell Bonus does not apply here

v1.26 added Chip Sell Bonus to the Nova Shop at 60, 100, 140, and 180 Nova, or 480 total, for up to +200% Upgrade Chips. The shop wording is specific about when it applies: selling a Droid.

A chip drop at the Scrap Station is not a sale, so Chip Sell Bonus does not multiply anything on this page. Upgrade Chip Scrap is still the track that changes what the station pays.
