Droid Tycoon Trading Guide

Write a clear trade, verify droid names and variants, use the Droidex request flow correctly, and recognize when it is safer to walk away.

How do I trade safely through Droidex?

Write down the exact droid, variant, quantity, and items on both sides, then confirm the same offer in game. Droidex helps coordinate trades but does not move items or act as escrow.

Leave if the in-game offer no longer matches the listing you accepted.

Droidex is not escrow

A listing, direct message, accepted trade request, and completed-trade count are records and coordination tools. They do not guarantee that an in-game exchange will happen. Never trade money, account access, login codes, or anything outside Droid Tycoon.

Write down the whole trade

A clean listing saves both players from negotiating the same deal twice.

ConfirmWhy it belongs in the agreement
Droid nameSimilar names are easy to skim past in chat.
VariantDefault, Gold, Diamond, Rainbow, Beskar, Galactic, and Stellar are different items.
QuantityState the number on both sides before joining a lobby.
Flawless claimConfirm whether the listing refers to a blueprint, crafted droid, or collection status.
Exact exchangeReplace “good offer” with the items both players actually accepted.

A trade flow that leaves less room for confusion

  1. Create or answer a listing with the exact droids and variants.
  2. Repeat the final exchange in the direct message.
  3. Send or accept the trade request only after both sides agree.
  4. Recheck the terms when you meet in game.
  5. For a multi-item deal, agree on the order before anything is handed over.
  6. Both players mark it complete only after the exchange is actually finished.

Completed trades are context

Droidex shows completed-trade history and account roles to make a conversation less anonymous. Use that information, but still verify the current deal. A strong history lowers uncertainty; it does not turn a changed offer into the offer you accepted.

How to think about value

There is no permanent value chart. Events, new variants, changed drop rates, and one popular Rebirth requirement can move demand quickly.

Compare the droid's rarity, variant, current source, crafting cost, and whether either player needs it for a requirement. Then decide whether the exchange is useful to both players rather than forcing it into a made-up universal price.

Walk away when the deal changes

  • Pressure to leave the Droidex conversation before the terms are written down.
  • A last-second change to the droid, variant, quantity, or order of the exchange.
  • Requests for money, gift cards, account access, login codes, or anything outside the game.
  • Claims that a completed-trade count guarantees the current deal.
  • Refusal to let you recheck the agreed items before the handoff.

You do not owe anyone a fast answer. Cancel the request, keep the message history, and report harassment or fraud attempts through the available moderation route.
